Siren

Hey yall! So today I am going to talk about the sneak peak of the new Freeform show, Siren that is set to premiere on Thursday, March 29th which I attended at Alamo Drafthouse NYC. Huge shout out to my coworker for signing us up to go, I really had a great time. If anybody knows how Alamo works, you know that the theater usually opens up 30 minutes before the movie is set to play. The preview wasn’t supposed to start until 7:00 pm and since I work in the area, we headed over there after work and just sat down in the bar area until they opened the theater at 6:30 pm.  

When we walked in there was an area in the front where there was a makeup artist creating mermaid looks on viewers, and there were T-shirts across each seat in the theater. What I love about Alamo is that they are a dine in theater so as soon as we sat down, we were able to scour the menu and decide what we wanted to eat, I went with my fave order of hot wings, while my coworker ordered the same.

At 7, there was a woman donned in mermaid attire who went up front to announce the beginning of the preview. The lights dimmed and the movie started. After the two-hour preview, which ended up being around an hour and forty minutes since there were no commercials, my coworker and I walked out of the theater discussing the show.

I don’t want to give too much away, but I will say it is a good show, I did laugh a lot at some things, especially things I couldn’t believe were happening lol. I did come to the conclusion that I will continue to keep up on this show (I have this thing with starting TV shows, where once I start them I have to finish them) whether it is actually watching or reading the synopsis. I can’t wait for you guys to get a chance to take a look at the season premiere on Thursday and then let me know what you think about it in the comments below.
