SpringEssentials Vox Box
Hey Slayerss!
I showed you guys an unboxing of my latest Influenster Vox Box on Instagram, but in case you haven’t seen it you can read my review on the products here and also view the unboxing video below.
I’ve been down with Influenster for a while (as you guys may have read my reviews on past boxes) and they are truly a great company to get down with in order to receive samples and try out products. This time I was selected for the #SpringEssentialsVoxBox and I received a couple of products inside. I got a bar of my fave Shea Moisture African Black Soap, a travel sized tube of Burt’s Bees Toothpaste, A Triscuit PopSocket for your phone, a bottle of Pantene’s Rescue Shots and a box of Krusteaz Protein Pancake Mix.
Lets start with the first item, the Shea Moisture African Black Soap. I loveee this product and the only reason I can confidently tell you that I love this product is because I already use it. I was so excited to see this in my box because I was running out of my current bar and this was right on time. I have been using this product to wash my face for years now and it has helped keep my skin clear for the most part. The only time I can really complain about is a couple of months ago when I started testing and using different products on my face and I started having breakouts. I stopped using all of those other new products and went back to my Shea Moisture African Black Soap and my face has already started to clear up. Of course, everybody’s skin is different but if you haven’t already I say to give this product a try. Oh, and if it helps this product is also cruelty free! You can get one of these bars for about $3.99.
Next on the list is my cute travel sized tube of Burt’s Bees Toothpaste in the flavor Mountain Mint. Now I will say that I was surprised to see that Burt’s Bees actually made toothpaste. I only know of chap stick and skin care products from the brand, so I was pleasantly surprised. The product is a Fluoride toothpaste and to me it works like any other toothpaste. It was cute though and will def come in handy for an upcoming trip that I have because even though I love traveling I hate having to purchase travel sized products lol. If you are interested in trying this product, it has a general price of about $4.99.
My Triscuit PopSocket is next on the list. I am all here for a new PopSocket, although I don’t know how I feel about carrying around a Triscuit branded PopSocket just because it messes up the aesthetic of my Lumee lol, but this item comes in handy. A PopSocket is great in that it allows for better grip when taking a selfie and you can use it as a phone stand. This was a cute idea and def works wonders for the brand when people walk around with this on their phones. I also received a coupon for a box of Triscuit Clusters which is a new product from the brand in different flavors and is basically just a grain bar in pieces instead of a whole bar, a cluster if you may (you see what I did there? Lol). I haven’t used my coupon yet, but I am a grain bar kind of person especially if it has nuts and a fruit inside so I’m sure I will appreciate these treats. It is priced around $3.49 for a box, not to bad for a tasty snack.
Next is my bottle of Pantene’s Rescue Shots. I am usually a bit iffy about products I use in my hair or I should say when I don’t know how to really use the product. This product is supposed to treat damaged hair and repair split ends. I’m not too sure if this product is for my hair type but I do plan on researching a bit more before I put it to use. I have heard great things about Pantene as a brand before in the past so after I get a bit more of a backstory I should be good to go. If any of you guys know a bit more about this product or have used it before, please let me know what you think below. This bottle costs about $1.49.
Lastly is my box of Krusteaz Protein Pancake Mix. I will be honest with you guys, I haven’t used this product yet either. I think my hesitance stems from the fact that in the past many products that I have tried that includes protein, the taste wasn’t really the best. I don’t really want to ruin pancakes for myself, but I am going to have to get over that just dig in. I think I will give it a try this weekend, since it is a 3-day weekend. How much could it hurt? Lol. After I have given this box of pancake mix a go, I will be back here with an updated review of the product. If any of you guys have heard of this brand or even tasted it already, please let me know what you think below. A box of this mix will run you about $4.98.
Well Slayers, that is all. My fave and least fave items in my recent VoxBox. Let me know what you think about any or all of the products and don’t forget to like, subscribe, comment and share. You can view my unboxing vid below. Til next time!
