I'd Like to Have Dessert for Starters

Again I ended up at the Samsung 837 building. They always have a bunch of events going on and they are free 99 lol! This month I attended a Connected Home Sessions event which highlighted Kathy Wakile from the Real Housewives of New Jersey and her desserts paired with Seagrams Escapes Cocktails. 

When I arrived they allowed us to line up inside instead of having to wait in the cold outside as previously done. A friend was actually meeting me there by the time he actually arrived the workers started to move us upstairs. Once upstairs we were directed towards the home section where there was a nice Seagrams setup. Everyone grabbed a cocktail and found a seat. Kathy wasn’t upstairs yet but the first half of the session began with a demonstration of some smart products that could be used around the house. Now, I’m not going to lie to you, I am a loyal Apple user but these products were really convincing me to make the switch lol.

After the short demonstration, Kathy made her entrance along with some of her beautiful desserts. I was so ready and excited to taste these creations. After she explained what she was presenting us with, and which flavor of Seagrams she likes to pair each with, the desserts were ready to be shared. My friend and I grabbed one of each, sat down, and dug in. She prepared Strawberry Shortcake and Grilled Pineapple with Coconut Shavings, sooo delish! After sampling the desserts I went up to speak with Kathy and got a pretty cool selfie as well. Check out some more pics below!
