Sunday Riley
Hey y’all! I’m back again lol. Last Thursday, I was lucky enough to attend a launch party for Sunday Riley’s Influencer Foundation thanks to Influenster. I was excited because this was the first ever launch party that I was invited to courtesy of Influenster. I ended up telling my coworker where I was heading after work and since she was going to another event in the area she decided to tag along.
When we arrived the line wasn’t crazy but baybeeeeee when they finally started letting us in at 6:30 (30 mins after the original start time) the crowd was nuts. They checked IDs at the door since they were giving out alcohol and in we went.
The layout was a decent size and very millennial pink lol. When you walked in there was a case filled with the various shades of foundation. Walking to the next room there was a bathtub filled with a pile of bubbles and a confetti booth for insta opps, and then the room led to a downstairs area. After walking down some steps there was a vending machine to the right filled with foundation, a slide into a ball pit to the left, a bar and some makeup counters with a photo booth to the front.
My coworker and I headed to the right of the room to stand in line for some free samples. This section was a mess but we were handed a Sunday Riley duffle bag to toss these freebies into. After picking up a couple of things we headed to one of the makeup counters to get tested for our shade in the Foundation line. I was so excited for my turn and I found out I was shade 270. After being told my shade I headed straight to the vending machine to get my free foundation.
There were some other insta worthy rooms built in that I wanted to walk through but the lines were long and I couldn’t deal but I saw their version of a photo booth and y’all know I had to do it lol. Can you believe there was nobody on line for that thing? It was different from your normal photo booth, more like the updated versions like at the Met Gala where an actual photographer records you and it is converted into a cute video. I couldn’t wait to see the finished product!
When I walked outside, I turned around and when I looked there was a line so long, I just knew most of those people would be disappointed from not getting in, but the pop up was open for the rest of the week to the public. If you didn’t get a chance to check it out, take a look at some more below.
