The Weekend and some Mike's Hard Lemonade
Mike’s Hard Lemonade hosted a great three day pop up called The Bright Side in Brooklyn from May 10th-12th. It was in Brooklyn at the fairly new City Point mall. This was perfect for me as it is on my way home. I attended with my coworker and we were one of the first on line since I also work a couple of blocks away.
All you had to do was show your ID and you were in, this is a 21+ event of course lol. As soon as you walk in there was a ball pit to the left (the new craze this year), a cotton candy forest to the right, a candy area right below, a table full of food right next to it, the bar right across from the food, a lounge area to chill, a photo booth right next to puppies, a car to do carpool karaoke, a dart board, and a stage for the nightly comedy show. Whew I’m out of breath from typing all of that lmao.
I got myself a plate first of course then a Mike’s Hard Margarita and my coworker and I sat down and ate while looking around at what we wanted to do next. The food table had salad, pigs in a blanket, sliders, and more hors d’ oeuvres and they had 5 different drink options. After eating I decided to take pics with the rescue puppies so adorb, and try to hit a balloon with a dart after and I won a collapsible water bottle. I also got a fresh roll of cotton candy. I ate enough so that I wouldn’t be hungry later that night lol (hey free food who wouldn’t take advantage?).
I did go back the next day and went through everything all over again, mostly for the reason of not having to buy dinner that night lol. Mike’s Hard Lemonade did an amazing job on this event though, and I wouldn’t mind if this became something annual, especially if I can go on the first day before anyone else finds out about it lol. Did any of you guys get to visit this pop up? If so tell me how your experience was below. Also check out some pics from #thebrightside.
