Everything's Coming Up Rosé
Hey Slayerssss! I’ve had a busy weekend starting with lunching with an old friend and attending different events. The event that I am going to tell you about is the Rosé Mansion that recently opened up in NYC. I was so excited to attend since this pop up wasn’t just about insta pics in different rooms but learning about wines and being able to taste a new one in each room. It was kind of like going to a winery for a tasting event where each room had a wine from different places from Africa to Upstate New York.
When we first walked in everyone in my group was handed a wine glass which had stickers and a pin inside. The first room we entered started off as an all white room but is an ongoing project of everybody placing stickers all over the room until there is no white space left. The pop up will be here for a while so I am excited to see how quickly this is achieved.
Next we were led into a room set up like a travel agency, there was a wine for us to try along with a person dictating the history of the wine (this was in every room), a desk of a travel agent and a mock airplane doorway for cute pics. Next we were led into an all pink room where we tasted another wine. There was also a scratch and sniff wall that had clues for us to guess with a scent that matched the answer, for example one clue was “a Drake song and a LaCroix flavor” the answer and scent was passion fruit! Such a cute idea.
The next space was a room setup with a ton of greenery where we tasted another wine and had some cute pic opps. To the right of this space was a hallway that had mini rooms that could literally only fit two people at a time lol, there was a rose room, two glittery curtain rooms, and a flamingo room.
After moving forward there was a hallway of grapes which is fitting since wine is made from...grapes lol. Def a cute photo opp before making it to the space where people could fill out a checklist of qualities for their perfect wine. After filling this out, you get in line where you hand the paper off and receive the wine you created. This was really a creative idea.
The next room had a wine tower which made for an awesome boomerang and a ball pit. I feel like just about every pop up this year has a ball pit but sadly this time I did not make it in since I had on heels. I made an executive decision not to take off my heels since it was hard enough getting them on lol.
Next was the floral room which had a swing and a bath tub full of flower petals. Now we all know I live for an reason to throw things around these flower petals were the perfect thing. After having my chance at the tub I moved on to my most anticipating room of the night, the chandelier room! I swung on the chandelier like Sia and had a blast before I was crowned a black queen in the throne room.
After moving on to the final room which was set in Ancient Rome we finally completed the tour. I would say it took my group about an hour and a half to complete which made the $35 I spent on a ticket worth it. Downstairs they had a cafe where you could buy more wine and food as well as merch from the event. We didn’t stay after as we had a reservation at Burger & Lobster which was amazing by the way but overall I would give the mansion a go! The Rosé Mansion is open until October 7th and is a 21+ event and IDs will be checked at the door. There is a happy hour ticket price of $35 weekdays until 4:30 PM otherwise the general admission is $45. If any of you guys have been to the pop up yet or are planning to go please let me know your thoughts or ask me any questions! View some more of my pics below!
