Catch her up in Whole Foods

Honestly I have been waiting forever for this 365 Whole Foods to open in my neighborhood and finally the day came. The convenience of having a grocery store near home feels great, so I took the day off of work to participate. I knowww, who takes the day off for a store opening, but they were having snacks, giveaways, and a free gift card to the first 100 people in line so I couldn’t wait to go.

I might have foolishly thought that heading out there at 8 AM for a 9 AM opening was good timing but boy was I wrong, there was already a line so I put some pep in my step and parked myself in the back, I just hoped I was somehow included in the group of 100 people for gift cards lol. 

While in line the workers handed out 365 Strawberry Cereal Bars and Coffee so the wait wasn’t too bad. Finally at 9 AM we headed in and were welcomed by all the workers standing on both sides of us and cheering. On the first level is the cafe that includes OrWashers New York’s original artisan bakery, Juice Press, Next Level Burger a Plant based burger joint, and a Beer, Wine, and Cider Self Serve. Quickly walking by I got on the escalator going down into the actual supermarket. 

I took as much pics and video as I could, while avoiding the crowds and picking up ingredients for quesadillas. Shortly after I headed towards the checkout where there were multiple lanes with screens overhead for each lane that announced which cashier to approach. While waiting, there was an attendant who was handing out Fort Greene 365 totes (I am not sure if this is a regular thing or just for today, but I love tote bags :)! ) After checking out I headed back upstairs and back home. I would def recommend this location which is the first on the East Coast, just give it some time for the crowds to wither. 365 Whole Foods Fort Greene is open from 8 AM - 11 PM everyday.
