The Winter Escape

Heyyy y’all! I had to come put y’all on to The Winter Escape pop up put together by the same team who created The Floral Escape experience. This pop up is similar to the fall version with stations made out of flowers, so if you missed out now is your chance! The theme is more Christmas-y this time around and the event has a few more stations than last time. It is outside which is perfect for social distancing and there are only a set amount of tickets for each time slot.

We scanned our tickets at the side gate this time and with Rona ramping up again they were def being more serious about masks. We were still allowed to take them off for pics (when 6 ft apart), but you had to put them right back on when done and moving around the exhibit. There are 15 stations to take pics with although I didn’t visit each. Seriously though, this is the best opportunity for Christmas portraits for a low price. I saw indivdual and family pics taking place, so don’t feel weird getting all dressed up, you won’t be the only one.

One thing that was a little hectic last time was the amount of time people were taking at each station. This time around there were signs up, ropes at each station for lining up and it was reiterated at the check in that you only had 3 minutes per station for pics. I enjoyed this rule because with only an hour slot per ticket, you want to get to every station. If you aren’t satisfied after your 3 mins are up, hop back in line and try again.

Some of the memorable stations included Candy Cane Lane, Santa, a Rainbow Christmas Tree, a Gingerbread House, and a beautiful Vintage White Car. I again went with the earliest time slot of 10 AM, but this time I attended on a Sunday. It was thankfully pretty tame and I was able to finish up by 11:40 ish. As I was walking out I was starting to notice families arriving in their matching outfits and I turned back to see the amount of people and sighed in relief that I picked a great time slot lol.
