Home Chef - Honey Butter Pork Chop
Hey Slayers!!
Back with another Home Chef update! I got meals lined up for the next couple of weeks, so get ready. I want to introduce my 1st meal this week, Honey Butter Pork Chop with Parmesan Broccoli. And guess what? This was my first official Stovetop meal from them and it is also a 15 minute meal! I prefer not having to use the oven, so stovetop meals are right up my alley. Let’s get to it.

The ingredients included:
Boneless Pork Chops
Broccoli Florets
Butter
Garlic Salt
Grated Parmesan
Honey
I prepped my meat like usual (including seasoning the meat with garlic salt and my other preferred additions), then cut the broccoli into pieces using my scissors. I never realized how useful cooking scissors were before these deliveries. Next I combined the honey, butter and some pepper in a small bowl before putting to the side.
I added 2 tsp. of olive oil to a pan before putting my pork chops in the pan to cook for 7 mins on each side. While that pan was sizzling, I added 1 tbsp. of olive oil to another pan before adding broccoli and 1 Tbsp. of water. I covered the pan and let it cook for 5 minutes until most of the water was gone. Next I took the cover off and let the broccoli cook for 3 minutes more before removing from the stove and stirring in parmesan and other seasoning. Lastly I plated the dish before topping the pork chop with my butter mix.
This was a great meal choice. I’m starting to really love and appreciate pork chops and it was quick and easy. For a mid week meal, I love to be able to whip something up, eat and still have time to relax before bed.
